In case you missed it in the last email, I’m offering a gathering on Thursday, July 17, 2025 from 12:00 - 1:00pm Eastern Time on Zoom to support us all in the midst of so much uncertainty.
Join us for a quiet, nourishing space where we come together to tend the tender ache of being human in a beleaguered world.
Each gathering offers a gentle rhythm of poetry, reflection, writing (you don’t have to be a writer to participate), and shared presence.
We name and honor the grief we carry — for the Earth, for each other, for what has been lost and is still being lost (personal and collective losses). Through words, silence, and witness, we make space for both sorrow and beauty to be held with compassion.
There is no need to be a writer. Bring your raw words, your broken-heartedness, your questions, your silence. Come as you are.
This is a space where we welcome all types of grief. It is a circle where writing becomes ritual, and where grief is not something to be fixed or pathologized, but tended.
“The work of the mature person is to carry grief in one hand and gratitude in the other and to be stretched large by them. How much sorrow can I hold? That’s how much gratitude I can give.” —Francis Weller, The Wild Edge of Sorrow
